Dr. Todd
I moved to Alaska over 20 years ago. When I was a young boy my dad brought me to Alaska on a fishing trip and I knew then this was the place for me. I have been married to my sweetheart Carleen for 30 years and we have lived the most amazing life together. We have 6 kids and 13 grandchildren whom we love dearly and enjoy spending time with.
I have been a pilot since I was a kid and absolutely love the time I get to spend exploring this beautiful state chasing big fish or big moose or just looking for a cool place to land an airplane. Two of my sons, one of my daughters, and two daughter in laws are pilots and we love the time we share together doing the things we love in our airplanes.
I have been a dentist for 34 years and truly enjoy what I do as a dentist. It's incredibly rewarding to restore broken, damaged, or decayed teeth and help people enjoy a beautiful smile. Perhaps the coolest thing about my work is getting to know so many really amazing people with stories of their own. On a daily basis I get to hear so many amazing stories of people's lives and learn what makes them tick and I am truly fortunate to have that opportunity every day!
Kim
Kim has called Alaska home for the last 24 years and has worked in the dental field for over 15 of those years. She loves helping our patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles and finds great joy in building lasting relationships with those she serves.
In her role at the front desk, Kim assists patients with scheduling, insurance, and financial needs to ensure a smooth experience from start to finish. She values each patient’s time and resources and works diligently in making every visit as easy and welcoming as possible.
Outside the office, Kim and her husband share a blended family of five awesome adult children, three wonderful in-laws, and four cherished grandchildren. They love spending time with family and also enjoy serving in their church and community. They are grateful for their full and blessed life together.
Kim
Kim has been a Dental Assistant since 1991. She is currently board certified and holds a Restorative License from University of Alaska’s Restorative Placement Program.
She loves taking care of patients and helping them to feel a part of our dental family here at Sun Mountain Dental Care.
Kim has been married to her best friend Pat for 30 years and they share two grown sons and three grandchildren. She is happy to be working in Wasilla where she has lived since 2003.
Kim loves spending time with her family, going camping, taking long walks, watching movies and cooking.
McKinley
McKinley Wehrli has been a Dental Assistant at Sun Mountain Dental Care since 2022. She loves being part of a team that helps patients feel cared for and comfortable. McKinley enjoys getting to know the people who come through the door and doing everything she can to make their visit a positive experience.
McKinley was born and raised in Glennallen, Alaska. She is married to Bryce, and they share a daughter and a son. McKinley's free time is spent with her family and friends - She loves hunting, fishing, and time outdoors whether it’s snowing or blue skies being outside is where she feels most at home.
McKinley offers a friendly attitude, a strong work ethic, and genuine concern for our patients. She’s grateful to be part of the Sun Mountain Dental Care team and to help support the community she loves.
Stephanie
Stephanie has lived in the Mat-Su Valley since 1989. She attended the Dental Hygiene Program at the University of Alaska – Anchorage and graduated in 1995.
Stephanie and her husband Randy raised two sons, Shane and Rowdy, in Wasilla. They enjoy family time and caring for their small ranch with horses, chickens, and dogs.
Alaskan adventures are enjoyed by the Bailey family—hunting, fishing, gardening, and sharing our beautiful state with friends and family who come to visit.
Stephanie has several decades of experience as a dental hygienist and loves caring for her patients at Sun Mountain Dental Care alongside a great team.
Jody
Jody has been polishing smiles since 2007. She believes a dental visit should feel comfortable, encouraging, and maybe even a little fun. Outside the office, she’s an Alaskan adventure addict—whether that’s hitting the trails, biking around town, or running wherever the road (or mountain) leads.
Carleen
Hi! My name is Carleen and I have the pleasure of working as a receptionist/assistant in our dental practice. I’m truly grateful to work with an incredible dentist and an amazing staff who feel more like family than coworkers. The warm patient-focused environment here is something I genuinely love and appreciate every day.
Outside the office, I enjoy gardening and quilting—two hobbies that bring me peace and creativity. I especially cherish the time I spend with my husband, who is such a wonderful and important part of my life. I love being with family, especially my grandchildren, who are a constant joy. We often go to Alaska adventures together, and I always say that if my little grandchildren can handle it, then I know it’s perfect for me too.
